I'm not getting married, says Johansson

Following much media speculation that she could be about to walk down the aisle, a representative for actress Scarlett Johansson has said the star and actor Ryan Reynolds aren't getting married.
A New York newspaper and websites had reported the 23-year-old was seen shopping for wedding dresses with her mother and sister in Los Angeles.
But Johansson's spokesperson told Usmagazine.com:  "A family member is getting married, not her. She is not engaged."

Amy Winehouse's family makes plea to leave singer alone

A member of Amy Winehouse's family has called in to a BBC Radio show to ask the press to leave the singer alone.

Sue, who did not give her last name, called in to BBC's 5Live following a discussion on drugs that used the singer as an example.

She said: "Please let her finish her rehabilitation - let her try to get off the stuff and then we'll have the Amy we all want.

"We're just trying to carry on our lives, if possible."

Sue said she was angry that Winehouse was being used as an example of drug abuse.

She added: "You keep bringing up that she's a teenage icon and what example is she setting. She's setting no example. She didn't want to be an example - all she wants to be is a singer and a songwriter.

"There are thousands of families going through the same tragic situation as us all over England and they're allowed to get on it quietly - and this is all we ask for Amy."

Sue also hit out at the paparazzi, saying: "Give it a break - stop printing all those nasty photos.

"Amy has the press knocking on her door at two o'clock, three o'clock in the morning and some of the photos of Amy at her worst is when she's had no sleep and gone downstairs to say 'Leave me alone, shut up, I want to go to sleep'."

When asked about Winehouse's recent incidents with the police Sue said: "Sometimes in our heart of hearts - and this is going to sound ever so bad - we wish she would be incarcerated and maybe that would help get her off the drugs."

Actor says Emmerdale changed his life

'Emmerdale' star Matthew Wolfenden has said that getting a role in the soap changed his life.
The actor, who plays David Metcalfe in the show, told the Press Association: "When I first started, I sat down with John Middleton, who plays Ashley. He said, 'When does your character first appear? Are you prepared for your life to change?' I always remember him saying that."
"It changes your life and your friends and families' lives as well. You can't go out without people wanting your picture on their camera phone."
"In the supermarket you constantly get people asking if you're 'that bloke off 'Emmerdale'," he said.
"You're on a soap and you're getting between six and eight million people watching a night. But you forget how many people watch it. I went to Las Vegas on holiday and had English people coming up for autographs."

Dr - Clapton Nelson Join Dr John On Angry New Orleans Album

Jazz and blues legend DR. JOHN has recorded a heartfelt homage to his native New Orleans with Eric Clapton and Willie Nelson.

Like many locals, Dr. John was left devastated when Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Louisiana city in 2005, and he's upset by the ongoing struggles there.

And so he rounded up friends like Clapton, Nelson, punk icon Ani DiFranco and film composer Terence Blanchard to join him as guests on his new album City That Care Forgot.

Clapton joins Dr. John on the track Time For A Change, while Nelson features on Promises, Promises.
